by Auto Guy on August 28, 2009

New super car was demonstrated during the last month motor show in Shanghai. New concept involves carbon fibre bodywork with improved down force seems to be a nice model with a price tag standing at million. This ultra beautiful super car is powered by the ZR1’s 6.2-litre V8 engine which is good enough for a new generation super cars.

Bertone MantideBeing designed by Italian designer Stile Bertone it is supposedly going to be on sale, but will it be affordable? It is alleged that this eye-popping prototype will be produced with just 10 units, so if you can afford to buy it, you must follow the news. Called the Mantide this fabulous prototype was inspired by Formula 1 with its aerospace design. The super car features its top speed of 217 miles per hour to make it possible for impressive 3.2 seconds.

Designers represent new option with flying buttresses, rear end as well as angular wheel wells. Actually, the super car was constructed in tandem with Danisi Engineering engineers being motivated to make it the best performance super car for legitimate street races. Modern airspace was also an inspiration for the prototype. Due to carbon fibre to be used for the model construction the whole car weight was reduced by staggering 100 kilos.

Now, high performance is possible due to its weight reduction as well as highly developed aerodynamics. The point is that it is a good example of a more effective car while fuel consumption is also reduced. This is no doubts an eco friendly car which boasts butterfly opening doors and other features good for air efficiency. Drag is one more feature that was reduced by 25% while its down force was improved by 30%.
