Luxury car maker Honda Siel Cars India today launched a new version of its sports utility vehicle, Honda CR-V, priced between Rs 21.9 lakh and Rs 24.12 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The new CR-V comes in three variants with an engine capacity of 2.0-2.4 litre, the company said in a statement.

Honda Siel Cars today denied news reports that the company has put its new assembly plant operations on hold in Rajasthan.
Director, Marketing, Honda Siel Cars India Tatsuya Natsume told mediapersons that the plant is operative and the major parts of its new brand Honda Jazz are being produced there.
Launching the Honda Jazz in Hyderabad, Natsume said the company has sold 55,000 cars (all models) last year while its target for the current year is 60,000.

Luxury car maker Honda Siel said today that it will commence exports of engine components like the crank shaft and connecting rod manufactured at its Rajasthan plant to its parent, Honda, in Japan, beginning from October this year.
The short-term export order arises from capacity constraints faced at Honda’s manufacturing facilities. Honda Siel President and CEO Masahiro Takedagawa said Japan has been witnessing a surge in demand for small cars arising from the Japanese government’s stimulus package for car manufacturers.

Auto manufacturer Honda Siel Cars launched a refurbished Honda Civic sedan with alternations in its design, such as a five-point metallic front grille and a new bumper.
The new Civic is available in three variants that will come in two models - Elegance and Inspire. The car is priced in the range of Rs.11.8 lakh to Rs.14.13 lakh at showrooms in Delhi.

The company has also introduced dark smokey headlights and crystalline octagonal tail lights in the car to give it a “contemporary look”.
